Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Spokesperson CR Kesavan has launched a scathing attack on Congress leader and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi over his recent social media remarks related to ‘Operation Sindoor.’ Kesavan accused Gandhi of undermining India’s national interest at a critical juncture when Indian delegations are engaging the global community to highlight Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.

Terming Gandhi's comments as “unscrupulous, insincere, and untruthful,” Kesavan said, “Rahul Gandhi, who is the nawab of negativity, is now sounding like a loyal mascot of Pakistan.” He further alleged that Gandhi was deliberately trying to politicize a sensitive national security operation to serve personal or political motives.

“Mr Gandhi and the Congress leadership need to answer what the ulterior motive is behind such bizarre statements. Our armed forces, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the External Affairs Minister have already made all facts public and clear,” Kesavan stated.

He accused Gandhi of attempting to “sow seeds of suspicion and cast aspersions” on the successful military operation, despite overwhelming evidence supporting its legitimacy and importance.

While acknowledging the role of a constructive opposition in a healthy democracy, Kesavan emphasized that the Congress leader’s approach lacked integrity and responsibility. “This is extremely reprehensible and condemnable,” he said.
