BJP’s CR Kesavan Hails Delhi Election Win, Mocks Congress’ ‘Hat-Trick of Zeros’

Chennai: Following the announcement of the Delhi Assembly election results, BJP spokesperson CR Kesavan hailed the party’s victory, attributing it to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and public trust in his governance. He also took a sharp dig at the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), calling the outcome a punishment for AAP’s governance failures and a humiliating defeat for Congress.

“The 1.5 crore people of Delhi have emphatically endorsed their faith in PM Modi's guarantee. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi has guaranteed the Congress the dubious distinction of getting a hat-trick of ducks—a hat-trick of zero seats in three consecutive assembly elections,” Kesavan said.

The BJP spokesperson claimed that the AAP government was being held accountable for its alleged misgovernance and corruption, leading to its downfall in the elections. “The AAP has been punished for their sins. Today is a day of rejoicement for the BJP, and we take this opportunity to thank all our workers,” he added.

Kesavan emphasized that Delhi is now ready to align with PM Modi’s developmental vision. “Delhi is ready to join the developmental journey under the leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. We are very sure that with the blessings of the people and the guidance of the Prime Minister, the new BJP government—the new double-engine government—will reclaim and restore the prosperity of Delhi,” he said.
