Delhi, January 4 — BJP National Vice President Baijayant Jay Panda criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leadership ahead of the upcoming Delhi elections, asserting that their "narrative has been shattered" by the BJP’s first list of candidates. Speaking to the media, Panda emphasized that the BJP’s selection process was democratic and involved consultations with a wide range of party workers.

“The BJP’s first list of candidates for the Delhi election has panicked reactions in the AAP leadership because their narrative has been shattered,” Panda stated. He continued, “We are a democratic party. We consulted a very wide array of our workers before we came up with this list. The AAP’s leadership is worried about their survival."

Panda also launched a strong attack on the AAP government’s tenure, highlighting issues such as inadequate infrastructure, poor water quality, and the lack of health facilities. He described the current situation as an "AAPda" — a disaster caused by AAP’s governance. "What the PM pointed out is correct. This ‘AAPda’, this disaster has surrounded Delhi for a very long time," Panda said, referencing Prime Minister Modi's criticism of the Delhi administration.

The BJP leader further compared Delhi’s development to the progress seen in the rest of the country under Modi's leadership, noting that India has become the fifth-largest economy globally. "The rest of India is developing under PM Modi-led initiatives, which have made India the 5th largest economy. Delhi does not look like the capital,” Panda remarked, emphasizing the city's stagnation.
