BJP Urges EC to Verify Burqa-Clad Voters in Bihar, RJD Terms Move a Political Ploy

Patna: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday urged the Election Commission (EC) to conduct the upcoming Bihar assembly elections in one or two phases and to implement stricter verification measures for women voters wearing burqas.

The party specifically requested that such voters be verified against their voter ID photographs at polling stations to ensure authenticity.
