Delhi: BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari strongly reacted to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's recent statements made in Virginia, USA, where Gandhi expressed confidence in defeating BJP in the upcoming elections. In response, Bhandari criticized the Congress party, alleging that fear is rooted within its own ranks.
"Today, if there is fear anywhere, it is within the Congress party. When a woman in Congress talks about casting couch, she is suspended by the party," Bhandari said, referencing internal issues within Congress. He further alleged that Congress leaders are fearful because their high command is "protecting rapists or standing with a rape-accused alliance."
Bhandari praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the consecutive electoral victories of BJP in 2014 and 2019, as well as Modi-led NDA's expected win in 2024. He accused Rahul Gandhi of enjoying India's harm by "going out and batting for China" and spreading falsehoods about India on international platforms.
Bhandari concluded by asserting that the opposition, led by Congress, is no longer constructive but harmful, driven by conspiracies that could damage India's national interests for political gain.
