BJP leader Yogender Chandolia has launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav following his remarks on the Maha Kumbh, accusing him of harboring a consistently negative attitude toward the Hindu religion.
“Akhilesh Yadav has always had a negative thinking towards the Hindu religion. People felt happy after attending Maha Kumbh. He says anything,” Chandolia said while addressing media queries about Yadav’s recent statements. The comments have ignited yet another round of political sparring between the ruling BJP and the opposition Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh.
The Maha Kumbh, one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for millions of Hindus. BJP leaders have been vocal in celebrating the event’s success and highlighting its smooth organization. Any critique of the gathering, they argue, is an affront to the sentiments of devotees and the efforts of the administration.
