Exuding confidence, sitting party MP and Maharani of Patnagarh, Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo told ANM News that she will emerge victorious. Balangir is witnessing a multicornered contest but Surendra Singh Bhoi of BJD is giving Singh Deo a run for her money. ``I have worked hard for the benefit of the people of the region.
I am confidant of retaining Balangir,'' she said. Early reports indicate that her husband Kanak Bardhan Singh Deo, former President of Odisha BJP, will be able to win Patnagarh assembly constituency. Lok Sabha and state assembly polls are being held simultaneously in Odisha.
