Deoghar, Aug 11 — BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Sunday launched a sharp attack on Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, over his recent criticism of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Speaking to reporters, Dubey alleged that Gandhi’s remarks questioned the integrity of the electoral process and claimed they aligned with foreign interests. “Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi wants to make this country Bangladesh. Given the way he has raised questions about the ECI, he must understand that the elections here will not be conducted through Bangladeshi voters,” Dubey said.

He further alleged that Gandhi “doesn’t know that when Rajiv Gandhi was the PM, the Election Commissioner used to sit in the PMO” and claimed the Congress leader “represents those foreign forces which do not want strong leadership in the form of PM Modi.”

Dubey also commented on a recent statement by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, saying, “The army is not political. He clearly said the exact things. After this, Rahul Gandhi should apologise to the nation.”
