New Delhi: As exit polls hint at a tight race in the Delhi Assembly elections, BJP MP Harsh Malhotra has confidently predicted a sweeping victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming the party will form the government with an absolute majority. Malhotra also took aim at the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing its leadership of corruption and betraying the people of Delhi.
“For the past 10 years, the BJP has been exposing the corrupt face of the AAP. The public has understood that AAP and Arvind Kejriwal have cheated the public of Delhi,” Malhotra said, asserting that the electorate is ready for change after nearly a decade of AAP rule.
Malhotra further claimed that AAP, facing potential defeat, will resort to blaming electronic voting machines (EVMs) to justify their losses. “As they are losing the elections, they will now blame the EVMs,” he remarked, referencing past instances where opposition parties have questioned the reliability of voting technology following unfavorable results.
