In the wake of the Haryana election results, BJP MP Anurag Thakur expressed his gratitude to the electorate and the hard work of party workers. He remarked, "I am very grateful to the people; the hard work of the workers has paid off... It is the policies of the Modi government that are continuously benefiting the BJP from the centre to the state. The 'Khata-Khat' model of Congress has failed."
Thakur's comments reflect a broader narrative from the BJP, which positions its governance as effective and beneficial for the populace. He highlighted the party's commitment to implementing policies that resonate with the people, distinguishing the BJP from the opposition.

Turning to the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Thakur acknowledged the BJP's performance in the Jammu region but noted that there were areas for improvement. He stated, "Overall, if you look at the Jammu region, the BJP performed quite well, there were some shortcomings too, perhaps better results could have come." However, he celebrated the record voter turnout in the region as a significant achievement, asserting, "So those who questioned EVMs, democracy... the voters of India have shown time and again that India's democracy is very strong; this is the victory of democracy."
