BJP MLA Tilak Ram Gupta Announces ₹2,500 Scheme for Women, Ayushman Card for Seniors

New Delhi: BJP MLA Tilak Ram Gupta has announced the launch of a ₹2,500 assistance scheme for women, set to begin on March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day. Additionally, he confirmed the rollout of Ayushman cards for senior citizens, aimed at providing healthcare benefits to the elderly.

"We are launching the ₹2,500 scheme for sisters on March 8, along with the Ayushman card for senior citizens, which has also been initiated," Gupta said, highlighting the BJP-led government's commitment to women’s empowerment and senior citizen welfare.

Taking a swipe at the opposition, he remarked, "Those who looted Delhi for 10 years are bound to go mad now that their business has shut down," hinting at alleged corruption during previous administrations.
