The MLA reported that many houses have been submerged due to the sudden influx of water, but emphasized that the district administration's prompt response has prevented any reported casualties.
In a statement, Niranjan said, "A flood-like situation arose as the water was released in Pahuj River from MP. Many houses have submerged. Due to the alertness of the district administration, we have not received information regarding a single casualty till now."
