Chandigarh: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a fresh attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), alleging internal chaos in Punjab following AAP’s defeat in the Delhi elections. BJP leader Subhash Sharma claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is now aiming for the Punjab CM post after losing ground in the national capital.
"Following AAP's defeat in Delhi elections, there is chaos (in Punjab). After they were defeated, I had said that the next challenge will be for Bhagwant Mann and Punjab. Arvind Kejriwal is a greedy person, and he is now eyeing the chair in Punjab after losing the chair in Delhi. A conspiracy has begun to make Kejriwal the CM in Punjab," Sharma said.
His remarks have sparked political controversy, with AAP leaders dismissing the allegations as baseless. The party has reaffirmed its commitment to governance in Punjab under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, denying any internal conflicts or leadership changes.
