Kochi, Kerala: BJP leader K.S. Radhakrishnan has categorically denied any party involvement in the alleged ₹1,000 crore Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund scam linked to Ananthu Krishnan. Addressing the media, he stated that the BJP had no plans to use CSR funds for distributing two-wheelers, laptops, or home appliances to the public.

"I would like to clarify that the BJP did not have a plan to make use of the Corporate Social Responsibility fund to provide either two-wheelers or laptops or any home appliances to any family," Radhakrishnan asserted.

The controversy erupted after allegations surfaced regarding misappropriation of CSR funds in Kerala, implicating certain political figures. Radhakrishnan emphasized that if any BJP office bearers were involved in the scam, it would be the party’s high command’s responsibility to take appropriate action.

"If some of the office bearers of the party are involved in this scam in a wrong manner, then it is up to the party's high command to initiate action against them. But I can be sure that the BJP is not going to support any of the scamsters in this ₹1,000 crore scam initiated by Ananthu Krishnan," he stated.
