Jammu: BJP leader Kavinder Gupta has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the tragic loss of at least 26 lives. Gupta described the incident as a "very sad" event and criticized Pakistan for its alleged role in orchestrating such attacks to destabilize the region. He emphasized that these "cowardly acts" are attempts to disrupt the peace and normalcy that have been established in Kashmir.

Gupta highlighted the significant influx of tourists to Kashmir in recent months, noting that over 500,000 visitors had arrived in the past three months alone. He stated, "If we look at all these issues, the situation in Kashmir was very well managed, but this cowardly act by Pakistan is intolerable."

In response to the attack, Gupta assured that both the Home Minister and the Prime Minister are taking the matter very seriously. He mentioned that the Home Minister had reached Kashmir the day before and that the Prime Minister had returned to India early from his visit to Saudi Arabia to address the situation. Gupta expressed confidence that the situation would be normalized soon and that measures would be implemented to prevent such incidents in the future.
