BJP leader Prem Shukla stated, "The Waqf Board has land more than the area of 50 countries. Therefore, to stop this 'land jihad', the government is bringing a Bill that will make the Waqf Board transparent and ensure the representation of women."

Shukla highlighted the need for the proposed legislation to address transparency issues and improve governance within the Waqf Board. The Bill is expected to introduce measures that will enhance oversight and ensure fair representation of women in the management of Waqf properties.
