New Delhi: Reacting to reports of a train hijack in Pakistan, BJP leader Brij Lal on Tuesday expressed his prayers for the 470 passengers' safety, while also stating that Pakistan is now facing the repercussions of its past actions.

"I pray to God that all the 470 passengers get free and remain unharmed. Our sympathies are with their families," Brij Lal said. However, he added, "Pakistan is paying for its deeds. They hijacked our plane to Kandahar to release terrorists, attacked our Parliament, and carried out blasts in India. But after the Modi government came, we adopted a zero-tolerance approach against terrorism."

He further warned that Pakistan’s policy of proxy wars is now backfiring, urging the country to build better relations with the world to combat terrorism. "If Pakistan does not change its approach, it will struggle to prevent its own disintegration," he asserted.
