Srinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is intensifying its election preparations in Jammu and Kashmir, according to Tarun Chugh, BJP National General Secretary and in-charge of the region. Speaking about the party's strategy, Chugh emphasized their commitment to contesting the elections independently and with full strength.

"BJP is fully engaged in election preparations in Jammu and Kashmir," Chugh stated. He further elaborated that the party has already completed a thorough review of the first phase of the elections and is actively discussing tactics for the upcoming phases. "The first phase of the elections has been completely reviewed here. There has also been a lot of discussion on how to contest the elections in the next phase. The opinion of all the major leaders has also been taken," he added.

Chugh highlighted the BJP's decision to go solo in the elections, focusing on its own strengths without forming any alliances. "BJP has entered the elections in Jammu and Kashmir with full strength without any alliance," he affirmed.

Criticizing the opposition, Chugh remarked on the shift in their rhetoric, particularly those who have previously aligned themselves with pro-Pakistan sentiments. "On the other hand, those who kept singing the tunes of Pakistan and tried to make the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir fight are nowadays asking for votes in the name of unity and integrity," he said.

The BJP's approach in Jammu and Kashmir signals a robust electoral strategy aimed at consolidating support across the region while taking a firm stand on national integrity and unity.
