Bhubaneswar, Odisha: BJD Member of Parliament Muzibulla Khan, after attending the party’s parliamentary party meeting at Naveen Nivas in Bhubaneswar today, revealed that the party has resolved to raise several critical issues affecting Odisha in the upcoming session of Parliament. The meeting was led by BJD president and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Khan stated that one of the primary concerns discussed was the delayed and inadequate progress of National Highway development in the state. "We had a meeting with party president Naveen Patnaik, who has directed us to raise the important issues of Odisha in the Parliament session. There are many issues, such as the improper execution of National Highway works, which need immediate attention," Khan said.

The BJD has long criticized the central government for the slow pace of infrastructure development, particularly on National Highways, which are vital for improving connectivity and economic growth in Odisha. Khan’s statement highlights the party's focus on addressing these infrastructural shortcomings, which they believe are hampering the state's progress.

In addition to the National Highway issue, other local and regional concerns were discussed during the meeting. The BJD leadership has consistently used its parliamentary platform to push for Odisha’s needs, and this session is expected to see a stronger push for infrastructure improvement, particularly in road development.

The BJD's commitment to raising these issues reflects its ongoing efforts to advocate for the betterment of Odisha and ensure that the state's concerns are given priority in the national political discourse.
