MUNGER, BIHAR, AUGUST 6 — Political strategist and Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor has issued a sharp critique of Bihar's current political landscape, calling for a complete overhaul of the existing system. Speaking at a public event in Munger, Kishor voiced growing public frustration with long-standing leaders and emphasized the need for progress-oriented governance.

“People are saying that we need to get rid of Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar,” Kishor stated, signaling a shift in public sentiment against the state’s veteran politicians. “Bihar needs a new system. Bihar needs education and employment,” he added, underlining the aspirations of the youth and working class.

Rejecting identity-based politics, Kishor claimed that citizens are increasingly disillusioned with divisive narratives. “No one wants to get caught up in caste or religion,” he remarked. He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's developmental approach, saying, “People have said that we will not vote for Prime Minister Modi because people will vote in Bihar, and factories will be set up in Gujarat. People do not accept this.”
