District officials said all arrangements have been completed for a smooth and secure counting process scheduled for 8 a.m. on November 14.
District Magistrate Kaushal Kumar said that extensive measures have been put in place to ensure transparency and efficiency during the counting. “The counting of votes will begin at 8 am tomorrow. Around 2,000 counting agents and 600 personnel will be here. The machines, laptops and other items have been arranged. Three-layer security has been implemented,” he said.
Officials added that CCTV surveillance and barricading have been set up to monitor the movement of people and maintain law and order in and around the counting premises.
Security forces from state police and central agencies have been deployed to manage entry points, while authorised personnel and agents of political parties will be allowed inside the counting hall after verification.
