Bihar DM Addresses Flood Situation in Darbhanga District

Bihar District Magistrate Rajiv Raushan addressed the pressing concerns of local residents. He reported that the water level in the river under the jurisdiction of Jamalpur Police Station has exceeded the water level of the dam, leading to significant flooding in the area. As a result, river water has inundated eight panchayats in the Kiratpur region, creating urgent challenges for both the administration and affected communities.

In response to the flooding, he announced the initiation of community kitchens to provide food and support for those displaced by the rising waters.
