Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited the residence of state minister Ratnesh Sada earlier today to partake in the traditional 'Dahi Chuda Bhoj' on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. The event, rooted in Bihar's rich cultural heritage, saw the Chief Minister extend warm wishes to the people of the state.
"Today, the Chief Minister visited my home on the occasion of Makar Sankranti and extended his best wishes to the people of Bihar," said Ratnesh Sada, expressing gratitude for Kumar’s presence. "He wished for the happiness, prosperity, and progress of the people of Bihar," Sada added.
Makar Sankranti, a harvest festival widely celebrated in Bihar, is marked by feasts featuring dahi (curd) and chuda (flattened rice), symbolizing the state’s agricultural traditions.
