Patna | Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal announced the formal launch of the NDA’s election campaign on Tuesday, marking the beginning of a coordinated and unified effort across the alliance’s five constituent parties. Speaking to reporters, Jaiswal said Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would inaugurate the campaign from the Minapur and Kanti Assembly constituencies, highlighting the NDA’s organized and transparent approach.
“In a very organized manner, with transparency, the five parties of the NDA are starting the election campaign with rock-solid unity,” Jaiswal stated. He further revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would launch his campaign on October 24 by paying homage to Bharat Ratna and Jananayak Karpoori Thakur in his native village. Modi is also scheduled to address public meetings in Samastipur and Begusarai on the same day.
Drawing a contrast between the NDA and the opposition INDIA bloc, Jaiswal accused the Congress of attempting to “strip Karpoori Thakur of the title of Jananayak,” asserting that the Prime Minister’s tribute demonstrates the NDA’s genuine respect for Bihar’s revered socialist leader.
