Bengaluru: As the city gears up for New Year celebrations, Police Commissioner B Dayanand conducted an inspection of safety arrangements in Koramangala, one of Bengaluru’s busiest areas. Speaking about the security preparations, Dayanand emphasized that the police were fully prepared to manage the large crowds expected in the area.

 

"The entire area is lighted up for celebrating the new year. A lot of people, especially youngsters from different walks of life, have gathered here," Dayanand said. "So, the police are also geared up for this occasion, and we have made adequate arrangements."

 

He assured that all officers were in place to maintain law and order and ensure the safety of revelers. The inspection comes as part of the police’s heightened efforts to secure popular areas and ensure that celebrations proceed smoothly without any untoward incidents.
