Haridwar, Uttarakhand: Yoga guru and entrepreneur Baba Ramdev on Tuesday expressed confidence in Uttarakhand’s future as a leading contributor to India's development through culture-driven and heritage-based progress. Speaking on the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India), Ramdev highlighted the state's potential in areas like yoga, Ayurveda, and naturopathy.

“Culture-based prosperity, heritage-based development, yoga, Ayurveda, naturopathy will grow in Uttarakhand,” Ramdev said. He added that this vision has the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose character he likened to the Himalayas — “firm, steadfast, and deeply rooted in values.”

Ramdev also praised Union Home Minister Amit Shah, calling him one of the most talented individuals he has ever seen. “I have also not seen a more talented person than Amit Shah,” he remarked, emphasizing his administrative and political acumen.

Acknowledging the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Ramdev said the state government is well-positioned to channel Uttarakhand’s spiritual and cultural strength into meaningful development.
