“Rajasthan’s economy today is around Rs 15 lakh crore. PM Modi has taken the resolution that he will double this figure. Rajasthan is in second position in the whole world in regard to progress,” said Gehlot. His statement aimed to showcase the significant strides Rajasthan has made under the current governance, focusing on its economic growth and development.
Gehlot also took a strong stance on the ongoing violence in neighboring Bangladesh, particularly targeting religious extremism. He criticized the situation, stating that any nation that promotes religious fanaticism is bound to deteriorate.
“Any country (Bangladesh) that runs on religious fanaticism is bound to destroy itself,” Gehlot remarked, condemning the rising tensions in Bangladesh.
He also expressed deep concern over the attacks on Hindu saints and priests in Bangladesh, calling them unfortunate and unacceptable. “It’s unfortunate the attacks on Hindu saints in Bangladesh and the lawyers of priests,” he said, denouncing the violence and urging the international community to take notice of such incidents.
