Following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which shook the nation and claimed innocent lives, actor Atul Kulkarni has made a heartfelt appeal to the public not to abandon their travel plans to Kashmir. Speaking passionately, Kulkarni emphasized that while the sorrow and anger over the incident are understandable, cancelling trips to the region would only serve the terrorists' agenda.

“When such big things happen, so many innocent people are killed. Every citizen of the country is sad, emotions are boiling inside,” Kulkarni said. He acknowledged that venting on social media or forwarding messages on platforms like WhatsApp is a natural emotional response. However, he encouraged people to take more concrete action.

Citing reports that 90% of tourist bookings to Kashmir were cancelled after the attack, Kulkarni warned against giving in to fear. “This is exactly what the terrorists wanted — they terrorized the tourists,” he said. He pointed out that Kashmir has historically been a safe destination for visitors and that such attacks should not define the region.

Kulkarni urged the public to show resilience and solidarity with the people of Kashmir. “They are not at fault. Six people cannot defeat 140 crore citizens or dictate what happens in Kashmir. Please don't cancel your bookings. If you have, rebook,” he appealed, emphasizing that continuing tourism is a way to stand up against terror and support the local economy.
