Guwahati: Assam has achieved a significant medical milestone as Gauhati Medical College successfully conducted the state’s first-ever robotic knee replacement surgery, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Tuesday.

Celebrating the achievement, CM Sarma stated, "Gauhati Medical College has demonstrated our capability to carry out tech-driven medical procedures," emphasizing the state’s commitment to advancing healthcare through modern technology.
