Assam CM Releases First Installment of Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Scheme to 27,000 Women in Nagaon

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma released the first installment of the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Scheme to 27,000 women in Nagaon’s Batadrava constituency, aiming to boost entrepreneurship and self-reliance among women in the state.

NAGAON — Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday announced the release of the first installment under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Scheme to 27,000 women in the Batadrava constituency of Nagaon. The initiative aims to promote women entrepreneurship and foster economic self-reliance across the state.

Addressing the beneficiaries, the CM said, “Today, we have released the first installment amount of Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Scheme to 27,000 women of Nagaon Batadrava constituency. After seeing the enthusiasm of the people, it has been proven that this scheme has been able to bring new entrepreneurship among the women of Assam.”

Highlighting the effective utilization of funds, Sarma added, “In constituencies where we have released the amount, we have come to know that the amount has been utilised properly in each constituency. I think that this scheme will begin a movement of self-reliance among the women of Assam.”
