Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma proudly announced that the state government is on the verge of fulfilling its promise to provide 1 lakh job appointments. "Today we have achieved a milestone of 99,097 letters," Sarma stated, expressing confidence that the target will be surpassed within this month or the next.

He highlighted the transparency of the employment process, noting that "no government in Assam has provided so much employment in such a transparent manner." Looking ahead, Sarma assured that an additional 50,000 appointment letters would be issued in the coming years, continuing the government's focus on job creation and economic growth.
