Delhi: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has criticized Rahul Gandhi's recent conduct and language in Parliament. Vaishnaw described Gandhi's questioning of the constitutional authority of the Lok Sabha Speaker as an attempt to undermine democracy and the Constitution.
Vaishnaw recalled a previous incident where Gandhi publicly tore up an ordinance introduced by his own government, questioning Gandhi's commitment to respecting constitutional limits. "It is sad that Rahul Gandhi's behavior as the leader of the opposition and the language he uses in Parliament reflect a disregard for democratic norms," Vaishnaw stated.
