Congress leader and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has responded to recent disturbances in the Rajasthan state assembly, describing them as deliberate attempts to weaken democratic processes. Speaking in Jaipur, Gehlot said such actions undermine the dignity of the House and distract from the pressing issues facing the state.
Addressing allegations of spying against the Congress party, Gehlot firmly rejected the claims, calling them unfounded and politically motivated. He argued that such accusations are intended to divert public attention and create unnecessary controversy. “These allegations are baseless. They are part of a political agenda to malign the Congress,” he stated.
Gehlot appealed to all political parties in Rajasthan to maintain decorum in the assembly and to engage constructively in debates. He stressed that governance and public welfare should remain the priority, especially at a time when citizens are grappling with multiple challenges.
