Delhi Former Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has raised fresh concerns over electoral transparency, accusing the Election Commission of withholding crucial voting data. In a tweet on Wednesday, Kejriwal alleged that the poll body had refused to upload Form 17C, which contains details of votes polled at each booth, despite multiple requests.

"EC has refused to upload Form 17C and the number of votes polled per booth in each assembly despite several requests. This is something that the Election Commission should have done in the interest of transparency, but it is unfortunate that they are refusing to do it," Kejriwal wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Form 17C is a crucial document in the election process as it records the number of votes cast at every polling station. Political parties and candidates often demand access to this data to cross-check vote tallies and ensure there are no discrepancies between votes cast and counted.
