Hyderabad, Telangana — Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Saturday said that this year’s Rakshabandhan festivities across the country are marked by added pride and joy due to the Army’s success in Operation Sindoor.

Speaking to reporters, Reddy said, “Today, sisters and women across the country are celebrating the festival of Rakshabandhan and participating in the festivities because the Army has shown its valour in Operation Sindoor and achieved a glorious victory. The Pakistani terrorist centre has been destroyed.”

He added that the security forces’ achievement had ensured a safer and more secure environment for citizens to celebrate. “Today, all women are participating in this festival, and I congratulate everyone,” he said.

Operation Sindoor, carried out by Indian security forces, targeted and eliminated a key Pakistani terrorist centre, according to official accounts. The operation is being hailed as a significant step in counterterrorism efforts and a boost to national security.
