Jammu & Kashmir: Amid continued debriefings following the success of Operation Sindoor, an Indian Army soldier has hailed the performance of the Army’s latest early warning radar system, describing it as a game-changer in air defence operations.
Standing before the radar in a forward location, the soldier said, “The radar you see behind me is the most modern early warning radar in today’s air defence system. It has long-range capability, meaning it can detect and track enemy drones, UAVs, or aircraft from a significant distance.”
He detailed how the radar played a crucial role in neutralizing enemy aerial threats. “It detected every target with precision and immediately passed the data to the fire control system. The weapon system, guided by the fire control radar, launched accurate and effective fire, destroying the targets mid-air before they could reach our positions.”
He added with confidence, “Its success rate is 100%. If possible, it could even be called 101%, but it can never be less than that.” The soldier also revealed that India’s forces had managed to jam Pakistan’s air defence systems, rendering them ineffective during the confrontation.
“Pakistan suffered heavy losses, and if they dare repeat such aggression in the future, the cost will be even higher,” he warned.
