Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi visited forward posts in Uttarakhand to assess the security situation and review the operational preparedness of troops stationed along the sensitive border region.
During his visit, General Dwivedi interacted with personnel from the Indian Army and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), commending their unwavering dedication, resilience, and professionalism in performing their duties under challenging terrain and climatic conditions.
Highlighting the evolving nature of modern warfare, the COAS emphasized the importance of incorporating advanced technology into military operations. He urged the forces to maintain high levels of vigilance and preparedness against both conventional threats and emerging challenges in the security landscape.
