Bikaner, Rajasthan: Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has called upon citizens to actively participate in the Self-Reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat) campaign by prioritizing the purchase of domestically manufactured products. Speaking at a public event in Bikaner, Meghwal highlighted the critical role of consumer choices in strengthening the national economy and advancing the self-reliance movement.
“The Self-Reliant India campaign is not just a government initiative; it is a collective mission in which every citizen should take part. Whatever item you buy, if it is made in India, you are directly contributing to the nation's economic strength,” Meghwal said, urging people to align their purchasing decisions with the broader national interest.
He noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently appealed to citizens to support indigenous industries as part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision. “The Prime Minister has requested citizens to support this movement, which is essential for India's long-term economic security,” Meghwal stated.
Referring to recent parliamentary discussions, Meghwal said, “The statement given by Union Minister Piyush Goyal in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha is clear in itself. India’s policy is transparent and firm—India's interests will always be safeguarded.”
