New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan shared insights into the early stages of Amaravati’s development as the state capital, emphasizing a vision for an inclusive and world-class city.
Speaking about the progress, Kalyan said, “We have just started. It is there at the proposal level right now. We need at least another 2-3 weeks to tell you more.” He acknowledged the challenges faced by Andhra Pradesh, stating, “We lacked a capital. Every state has a capital. Only Andhra Pradesh didn’t have one. So, we are really committed.”
Kalyan highlighted the state government’s ambitious plans for Amaravati. “We wanted to build a world-class capital which would include every part of the Andhra region. We want to welcome here every part of the country, every entrepreneur from any state,” he explained.
He underscored the importance of inclusivity and economic growth, expressing a desire to make Amaravati a hub for entrepreneurs and innovators. “Anyone should be allowed and be a part of the growth,” he added.
The Deputy CM’s remarks reaffirm the government’s dedication to addressing Andhra Pradesh’s developmental needs while setting the stage for a capital city that reflects both regional pride and national integration.
