New Delhi: In a recent Lok Sabha session, BJP MP Anurag Thakur expressed concerns over the Congress leadership's response to the developments in neighboring Bangladesh. Thakur highlighted that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Prime Minister of Bangladesh's Interim Government, he also emphasized the importance of ensuring peace, security, and development for Hindus and other minorities in the country.

Thakur criticized the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) and the Congress chief for not mentioning the security of Hindus and minorities in their congratulatory messages. "What was the compulsion that they could not speak about the security of the Hindus and minorities there?" Thakur questioned. He also pointed out that while the Congress leaders had spoken extensively about Gaza, they failed to address similar concerns in Bangladesh.
