Giridih, Jharkhand: Union Minister Annpurna Devi addressed supporters in Giridih, expressing optimism about the BJP-led NDA's prospects in the ongoing Jharkhand Assembly elections. She asserted that the people of Jharkhand had taken matters into their own hands and were dissatisfied with the current state government, accusing it of betrayal and failure to deliver on promises.

“The people are upset with the current government of the state. They have cheated and deceived the state. They made many promises which were not fulfilled,” said Devi, highlighting the growing disillusionment among the electorate.

Referring to the first phase of voting, she confidently predicted that the NDA would secure 32 to 35 seats. “Even in the first phase of voting, 32 to 35 seats are coming in favour of NDA. There is a very good atmosphere in this phase too,” she said, further adding, “NDA will win 6 seats in Giridih.”

Devi emphasized the widespread support for the BJP-NDA alliance, declaring that the people of Jharkhand would bestow their blessings upon the NDA, ensuring a resounding victory and an absolute majority for the coalition in the state government.

Her statements reflect the BJP’s ongoing campaign in Jharkhand, positioning itself as the alternative to the current ruling government and projecting a win in the upcoming phases of the elections.
