CHANDIGARH – Haryana Minister Anil Vij on Tuesday took a sharp dig at Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of evading responsibility and blaming others for Delhi’s problems. Citing the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, Vij claimed Kejriwal always looks for scapegoats rather than addressing issues within his administration.
“Swami Vivekananda had said that the cause of every problem should be found within the problem, but Arvind Kejriwal looks for the cause of everything outside himself,” Vij said.
Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government over Delhi’s persistent air pollution, Vij accused Kejriwal of unfairly blaming neighboring states. “If the air in Delhi is polluted, he blames Haryana and Uttar Pradesh,” he remarked, dismissing AAP’s allegations that stubble burning in these states is the primary reason for Delhi’s smog.
Vij also attacked the Delhi government over its failure to clean the Yamuna River, a long-standing environmental issue. “They could not clean the Yamuna water in 10 years... and now they are blaming us. They just lie,” he said.
