Chandigarh, Haryana: Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij has launched a scathing attack on Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and along with AAP Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing them of engaging in a "race to tell lies" and misleading the public with false claims.
"These days, there is a race in Delhi to tell lies, and now Kejriwal ji wants to stay ahead in this race, while Atishi thinks she should be ahead. Both of them are misleading the people by saying all sorts of things," Vij remarked during a press interaction.
The senior BJP leader did not elaborate on specific instances but alluded to recent political developments and statements by the AAP leadership in Delhi. His comments come amid heightened political tensions and verbal sparring between BJP and AAP leaders.
Anil Vij has been known for his sharp and direct criticism of political opponents, particularly those in the Aam Aadmi Party. His remarks are expected to further intensify the ongoing political discourse between the two parties.
As the battle of words continues, both parties are gearing up for the future electoral challenges, seeking to consolidate their support bases by presenting the contrasting narratives on governance and public welfare.
