Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is in Mumbai to participate in the ongoing Ganesh festivities, on Saturday visited several key locations and held discussions with state leaders.
Shah, accompanied by his family members, offered prayers at the famed Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh mandal, one of Mumbai’s most prominent Ganesh pandals that attracts lakhs of devotees each year. Earlier, he visited the residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, where he joined in the Ganesh celebrations.
As part of his visit, the Union Home Minister also met Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state. Party officials said the discussions focused on political and organizational matters, as well as preparations for upcoming electoral challenges.
