DARBHANGA, BIHAR — In a fiery address ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged voters in Darbhanga to unite behind the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and prevent what he termed the return of “Jungle Raj” in the state.

Speaking at a large public rally, Shah appealed to the crowd to vote for the BJP’s three candidates on November 6, stressing that their support would not merely elect legislators but help secure Bihar’s progress.

“All of you must press the lotus button on November 06 and ensure the victory of our three candidates,” Shah said. “When you press the lotus button, don’t do it to make someone an MLA or a minister. Press the lotus button to stop ‘Jungle Raj’.”

Accusing the opposition of attempting to “return quietly by changing its face, clothes, and disguise,” Shah said the people’s duty was to reject such forces and stand firmly for development and stability.
