Raipur, Chhattisgarh | Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Chhattisgarh on June 22 and 23, during which he will inaugurate key projects aimed at strengthening forensic infrastructure and law enforcement in the state. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma announced that Shah will formally gift the National Forensic Science University (NFSU) to Chhattisgarh during his visit.

“The state government has allotted 40 acres of land in Naya Raipur for setting up the NFSU campus,” Sharma said, adding that this would be a significant step toward enhancing scientific investigation and criminal justice capabilities in the region.

In addition to the NFSU announcement, the Home Minister will also perform bhoomi poojan for the Chhattisgarh State Forensic Laboratory, marking the beginning of construction of the state’s own advanced forensic analysis facility.
