Sonmarg: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday expressed strong confidence in the preparedness for this year’s Amarnath Yatra, stating that the 2025 edition will surpass the previous four years in terms of security, coordination, and devotee experience.
Speaking to the media following a high-level review meeting on yatra arrangements, LG Sinha said, “After today’s meeting, I can confidently say that this year’s Amarnath Yatra will be better than the last four years. The security arrangements are well-planned and coordinated. I hope the pilgrimage is more comfortable for devotees and offers an even better experience.”
The annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave shrine, which attracts thousands of devotees each year, is set to commence amid heightened security and logistical preparations. LG Sinha’s comments come as central and UT-level agencies work jointly to ensure smooth passage, safety, and medical support for pilgrims.
