New Delhi – All India Mahila Congress President Alka Lamba has launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, questioning his refusal to convene an all-party meeting in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives.

In a statement shared on social media, Lamba said, “The entire nation is questioning why Prime Minister Modi is avoiding calling an all-party meeting.” She pointed out that several Members of Parliament who are currently visiting foreign countries as part of India’s diplomatic offensive against Pakistan are the same lawmakers who have themselves demanded a joint political dialogue back home.

Lamba suggested that the Prime Minister’s hesitation could stem from an unwillingness to face tough questions about the government’s preparedness and intelligence failure leading up to the April 22 attack in Jammu & Kashmir. “It appears to be because he knows that the Pahalgam terror attack… was the result of the government's negligence,” she alleged.
