Faridabad, Haryana | Al-Falah University and its sprawling 76-acre campus in the Muslim-majority Dhauj village of Faridabad have come under intense scrutiny after the arrest of three doctors allegedly linked to a “white-collar terror module” and the recent high-intensity explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort.
The development follows a major recovery by security agencies, who seized nearly 2,900 kilograms of explosives and inflammable material from two rented rooms belonging to a Kashmiri doctor residing in Faridabad. Officials said the massive haul was one of the largest in recent years and raised concerns about a well-organized network operating under professional or academic fronts.
Police teams have been stationed at Al-Falah University, where the Kashmiri doctor had been living for the past three and a half years. A comprehensive combing and search operation was carried out in and around the campus and adjoining areas on Tuesday.
Authorities are probing whether university premises or resources were misused to store materials, plan operations, or recruit individuals. The arrested doctors are believed to have links with a broader module connected to the Red Fort blast, which occurred in a high-security zone in Delhi.
