New Delhi – Participating in the Lok Sabha debate on Operation Sindoor, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Akhilesh Yadav raised pointed questions regarding the ceasefire decision, suggesting a lack of transparency and implying that external relationships may have influenced the outcome.

“What was the reason due to which the government had to announce a ceasefire?” Yadav asked during his address. “We were hoping the government itself would have announced it. But since they have deep friendships, the government asked their friend to announce the ceasefire,” he added, without directly naming any foreign nation or leader.
